Beginning March 4, 2010 all adults over the age of 18 entering the Northern Illinois Boat Show will be given the chance to participate in a free contest to win a new boat & trailer and a New Chevy SILVERADO! It is free to enter the Roll to win promotion in the lobby of the New Lake County Fairgrounds building! All contestants must provide proof of age 18 or older with drivers license or state id. Fill out the entry form with name, address and email and phone number, then roll the dice to qualify as a finalist. 225 qualifiers will be called back on Sunday to roll off and win the new boat, trailer and truck!

Official Contest Rules Roll to Win: Entry for contest is FREE. Each contestant must be 18 years or older. Each eligible contestant will be allowed to roll 4 dice at one of the tables after providing their proof of age, name, address, e-mail address and phone number. One face on each die will have one letter spelling the word boat. If a contestant rolls 3 of the 4 letters in BOAT (approximate odds of 65 – 1), they will qualify as a finalist for a chance to win the Grand Prize, and be invited back on Sunday for the last hour of the show. In the last hour, 2 additional dice will be added to the original 4 dice. On one of the 2 new dice one face imprinted with the word “win” and on the other die one face will be imprinted with the word “new”

All qualifying contestants (no more than 225 total) will be videotaped as they attempt to roll all 6 dice in an attempt to spell out the phrase “WIN” “NEW” “B” “O” “A” “T” (approximate odds: 46,656 – 1). If a contestant rolls all 6 dice spelling WIN NEW B O A T, he will win the Grand Prize. If a 2nd contestant rolls all 6 dice spelling the phrase WIN NEW B O A T, he will also win the Grand Prize. If more than 2 contestants roll the phrase WIN NEW B O A T, there will be a roll off between all of those contestants, and the two contestants that roll the most combination of words and letters will win the prizes. In the event that no one rolls the dice spelling WIN NEW B O A T, all contestants that have rolled the most combination of words and letters will then roll off to roll the most combination of words and letters – that finalist will win a Lund Rowboat.

Grand Prize: New Chevrolet Silverado 2500, a new boat trailer, and a new Boat (to be chosen by winner) with a total retail value of grand prize : 50,000 (tax, title, licenses, doc fees, registration and set-up fees to be paid by Grand Prize winner – no substitution for Grand Prize prize has no cash value and is non transferable).

The winners will fill out a tax form1099 and pick up prizes at any one of the exhibiting dealerships of their choice. The total prize is worth 50,000. Chevy SILVERADO 20,000 and boat and trailer combined is valued at 30,000. Consumer choice for boat from exhibiting dealers, Chevy SILVERADO is from Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake. Winner must claim prize and pay all fees within 30 days of winning or by 03/08/2010. Prize is not transferable and has no cash value.

First Prize (in the event that there are no Grand Prize winners): Lund Rowboat (retail value $1,600.00) model A 12. Winner is responsible to pay for registration fee’s all tax and title delivery/set up/freight and doc fees Winner must claim prize at Fox Lake Harbor Marina by 03/08/2010. Prize is not transferable and has no cash value.

INELIGABLE: Current or former employees, family members, agents, successors, or assignees of the  Northern Illinois Boat Show or any promotional agency involved with this promotion shall be INELIGIBLE to participate.

ADDITONAL RULES: Promotional contestants will not be permitted any practice, warm up, or qualifying roll/throws, at any time prior to the actual prize rolls/throws.

Contestants must enter their name, daytime phone number, and signature in the “contestant sign in binder” and immediately proceed to roll the dice.

In order to qualify for prize reimbursement, promotional contestants much successfully roll/throw, from within a dice cup or container (not a contestants bare hand) all of the dice at once onto a smooth playing surface with the skyward side coming to rest as follows:

Each die must come to rest a minimum of three (3) feet from where the roll/throw was initiated and make a minimum of two (2) complete rotations while in the air.

Any die that is stacked or leaning in any fashion will void the roll/throw and the contestant will be allowed a replacement roll/throw of all of the dice.

No part of the contestants body or clothing may come into contact with the demarcation lines prior to releasing the roll/throw.

AFTER PROMOTION: Winner must sign: affidavit as proof of a prize claim (forms furnished by Northern Illinois Boat Show/O.O.P.) signature prior to roll in sign in binder, be able to answer any questions or investigative concerns regarding the roll/throw and contest by O.O.P. , and may be subject to a polygraph examination as a condition to payment of the claim, if, in the sole opinion of OOP such an examination is necessary.
